Golf Outing Notice

China Golf Outing March 2025 – Firestone golf course – Shenzhen

Date/Time: – 13th March 2025. Tee time TBC: detail information to follow after the deadline , as it depends on the number of participants. But please take this as a full day, early morning departs and back early evening.

Departure time – 745 am Bus from HKFC

Return Bus from Shenzhen Border – approx 730-8pm

Venue: Shenzhen Firestone Golf Club

No. of Entry: 20 persons’ maximum.

1) Places will only be available to paid-up members of the HKFC Golf Society.

2) This is a social event, and selection will be based on a first-come, first-served format.

3) Dropouts within 48 hours of an event will be deemed to have played in the event as regards selection for future events under Rule 2. They will also be charged for the event unless a replacement player is found. Replacements will be sought from all unsuccessful applicants for that event by email and allocated on a first-response basis. If a member late cancels TWICE from events in a calendar year (late cancel = cancel under 48 hours of an event), they may not be selected on the next event.

Format: Individual Stableford with handicap

Prizes for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place as well as NTP and LD.

Cost: Final cost TBC but it approx. 800-900 HKD
(guest will be considered if there are still spaces left but at a rate of 850-1150HKD)

Package to include, green fee, caddie, shared golf cart, locker (Caddy tip not included rate is around 200-300RMB) and transport – TBC . Depending on the number of participants, the GS may arrange a bus to transport players from the HKFC to the HK/Shenzhen border and then to the golf club, with a return trip included.

A VALID CHINA VISA/APEC IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TRIP

Remarks:
To qualify for Stableford competition, GS members must have a Current GHIN Handicap, i.e. All scorecards entered with at least 1 card being submitted in the past 6 months and at least 3 cards being submitted in the past 12 months.  All your scores need to be submitted, if it is known that your latest round has not been updated you will be automatically disqualified from all competitions of the day and may affect future competitions.
